Namaste, I’m a Graphic Designer and aspiring UX professional currently pursuing my BFA in Graphic Design at Maryville University, St. Louis, where I’m also a Bascom Honors Scholar with a GPA of 3.97. With a foundation rooted in strong visual storytelling, user interface design, and brand systems, I’m passionate about creating design experiences that are not only visually compelling but also intuitive and inclusive.

I bring a diverse background that merges business acumen with creative execution. After graduating top of my high school Commerce class at The Modern School in Delhi NCR, I’ve continued to build on my interdisciplinary strengths, from marketing and data analytics to typography and motion graphics. My work reflects a blend of strategic thinking and visual sensitivity, shaped by both formal education and hands-on experience across industries and countries.

Professionally, I’ve collaborated with startups, universities, and public figures through roles at Xire, Maryville University, and as a freelance designer across India, Thailand, and the U.S. I’ve tackled everything from digital branding and multi-platform UI systems to managing 300+ guest events and redesigning a Starbucks store layout. Whether I’m guiding campus tours as an Admissions Associate, supporting students as a Residential Assistant, or running usability tests to refine a product's design, I aim to lead with empathy and clarity.

Outside of academics and work, I’m driven by curiosity and community. I’ve been honored with awards like the Best Student Employee, the Principal’s Choice Scholarship, and multiple Dean’s List recognitions. I’m also a certified Mental Health First Aider and CPR-trained, reflecting my commitment to creating safe and empowering spaces, both digitally and in real life.

In everything I do, I strive to balance aesthetics with intention, and creativity with purpose.

ABOUT PULKIT

My Roots - India

I come from a country of philosophers and believers, India, where the search for meaning is not a solitary act but a shared habit. I grew up hearing the melody of many faiths at dawn, learning that disagreement can be dignified, and that devotion can fuel inquiry rather than silence it.

I come from New Delhi, India, a city that is as vibrant and layered as the culture that shaped me. Growing up as a Hindu, I have always held deep respect for my beliefs, finding wisdom in every element of nature. From the flowing grace of water to the steady warmth of the sun, I have learned to see the world as a living canvas, each part offering its own lesson in balance, beauty, and purpose.

This connection to the earth’s elements naturally flows into my creative work. As a designer, I draw on harmony, rhythm, and symbolism to craft visuals that speak beyond words. As a musician, I let emotion and structure intertwine, creating experiences that resonate. Whether I am designing a brand identity or composing a melody, I strive to blend tradition with innovation, carrying forward the values that have shaped me while exploring new ways to share them with the world.

MY LIFE MANTRA:

Khudi ko kar buland itna ki har taqdeer se pehle
khuda bande se khud puchhe bata teri raza kya hai

– Allama Iqbal

Elevate yourself high so that before deciding your destiny,
God Himself asks, ‘What should I bestow upon thee?’
